Labour Council’s monthly Delegates’ Meeting will go forward this Thursday at the same time as usual, but will be conducted entirely online. We recognize that this is a new platform and will aim to make the process as smooth as possible.

The agenda will follow much the same format as usual, with some streamlining. This month, our main focus is of course on the social and economic impact that the COVID-19 crisis is having on our labour community. We will be reviewing a statement based on the Priority Responses to COVID-19 page. We will also hear from Women’s Committee member Kim Mantulak on Equal Pay Day, commemorated on April 4 this year.
