The NO.2 Construction Battalion will be celebrated during Black History Month on February 23, 2023 at the Bellagio Boutique Event Venue in Concord, Ontario. This event is hosted by the Carpenters Union and presented by AFROGLOBAL Television and aims to honor the past and inspire the future.

The celebration focuses on the contributions and experiences of Black workers in the construction industry and will offer a unique and engaging look at the role that labor has played in shaping our shared history. This is a strictly by invitation event, open to members of the labor community and those interested in learning more about the contributions of Black workers to Canadian history.
