Political Action Conference 2022
With municipal elections happening this fall, now is the time for workers of all backgrounds to get connected, trained, and motivated to make change!
Local government is the closest to the people — and it’s also where regular people can have the greatest impact. City Council and school trustee races are the perfect places to build worker power by getting the right people elected and by honing the skills that make our unions strong.
Your Toronto & York Region Labour Council is hosting the 2022 Political Action Conference with YOU in mind. With training streams for beginner and experienced political activists, inspiring plenary sessions, and opportunities to get connected to important, progressive campaigns, you’ll come away from this conference motivated and ready to roll up your sleeves for local democracy. Workshops will include how to organize through political action committees, how to fundraise, how to knock on doors for a candidate, how to manage a campaign, and more!
