Rolling back workers’ rights, interfering in elections, cancelling programs and attacking union agreements, the Conservatives have been working on behalf of the wealthiest 1% every day.
The labour movement must forge a new level of solidarity to meet this challenge. We discover our true power when we work together for justice.
Keynote speaker will be award-winning author and political analyst Linda McQuaig. Attendees will be engaged with table discussions and sharing of experiences from different sectors impacted by the Ford Government’s policies. This event will help create a collective resistance that will be sorely needed in coming months.
We are asking every union to recruit the equivalent of 1% of the membership – a local of 8,000 members should send 80 participants. The room can hold up to 2,000 people.
