Curran Stikuts is a progressive community leader running for City Council in Toronto Centre, where he lives and has worked for over 15 years.
Curran has spent his career working on the issues that shape life in Toronto Centre, from housing and public health to community safety, public space, and queer advocacy. He got his start in the Downtown East in cooperative housing and later worked in the community health sector. Over a decade at The 519 Community Centre, Curran led advocacy initiatives, developed countless community programs, and worked closely with residents, small businesses, government, and community organizations across the ward and beyond.
He has raised millions of dollars for 2SLGBTQIA+ and Toronto Centre community initiatives and has served on the boards of foundation and social policy organizations.
Curran is committed to bringing responsive, locally grounded leadership to City Hall, shaped by the people and neighbourhoods of Toronto Centre.
