Sara Ehrhardt is running for City Council to continue leadership that stands up for Toronto-Danforth’s values, fighting for a better life for everyone in our community.
A local parent and policy professional with an engineering background, Sara got her local start as an activist, saving the Duke of Connaught school pool, expanding swim programs, and protecting childcare from cuts.
Elected Toronto-Danforth’s Public School Trustee in 2022, she became one of our community’s most effective voices. When Ontario Line construction hit our neighbourhoods, Sara won real protections for workers and students: a construction liaison committee, a safety plan at Pape School, and more crossing guards.
She championed traffic calming near schools, secured cooling and ventilation funding, and saved pools and language programs from closure. When Doug Ford stripped Toronto of elected trustees, she kept serving, knocking on doors, holding forums, publishing updates and co-found the Toronto Education Advocacy Network.
