Union Affiliation Form

Use this form to affiliate your union local with Toronto & York Region Labour Council.

Affiliation brings your local together with other unions across Toronto and York Region to support one another and organize around shared priorities. Your delegates represent your members at Labour Council meetings and vote on the decisions that guide our work.

Affiliated locals contribute dues, known as per capita, for all their members who work in Toronto and York Region. The 2026 rate is $0.60 per member per month. The number of members your local pays dues for also determines how many delegates it can send. These requirements are set out in Articles IV and V of Labour Council’s Constitution.

Please have your local’s membership count and contact information for its officers and delegates ready. This form must be submitted by a local officer with the authority to affiliate to the TYRLC.
