The Toronto & York Region Labour Council is the central labour body representing dozens of local affiliates and over 220,000 women and men across all sectors of the economy. Affiliation means that a local union chapter have officially signed on, or affiliated themselves, with our Labour Council. In return, affiliates receive a formal role in decision-making, can participate in elections and have delegates represent their interests in meetings and on committees.
