Kevin Rupasinghe is an engineer, city builder, community advocate, and a proud resident of Scarborough Southwest. He wants a Scarborough where everyone can find a home they can afford, people can easily move around the city to access opportunities, and every neighbourhood feels safe.
Kevin has spent years as a community leader working alongside neighbours, local organizations, and small businesses to solve real problems. He has stood beside striking workers across the city, served as a board member on local and national nonprofits, and volunteers with civic groups in Toronto.
In Scarborough, he has advocated to reverse cuts to TTC bus routes, get more affordable housing built here, pushed to reimagine the Scarborough RT, fought to make Kingston Rd a safe and vibrant street, and more. Kevin has always shown he can be trusted to put the community’s interests first, and he can be trusted to do the same at City Hall.
