Public education is under threat: with massive funding cuts, forced online coursework in high schools, and significantly larger class sizes, the Ontario Conservative government does not have the interests of our kids - or the people who teach them - in mind.  Come stand up for public education in Minister for Education Stephen Lecce's own riding of King-Vaughan.  We'll be tailgating at one of the biggest intersections in the riding, just outside the Longo's at Major Mackenzie and Jane (on the northeast side).

This event is organized by York Communities for Public Education, a coalition of parents, students, educators, education workers, and community allies who share an interest in maintaining the high standard of public education in York Region.
