Labour Day Parade 2022

A return to our famous in-person Labour Day parade 2022! As this is the 150th anniversary of labour taking to the streets in Toronto, our theme this year is “150 Years Together”.

That tradition continues, and 150 years later, we will gather in downtown Toronto again to demonstrate and celebrate the strength and power of labour with 20,000 members. Save the date and march through the streets with us to the CNE!

The Labour Day Parade leaves Queen St. W. at University Ave. at 09:30 AM sharp. We'll take our traditional route: it leaves Queen St. W. at University Ave., heading west on Queen West to Dufferin, then turns south & passes the reviewing stand before the CNE grounds at Dufferin Gate.

The 150th anniversary of Labour marching in the streets of Toronto is important to unions and working people. After two years of COVID – with one year of virtual Labour Day, and a second year of a Labour Day on wheels – let’s take to the streets in huge numbers! Hope to see you all soon again!
