Alejandra Bravo – 2026 Municipal Election

Alejandra Bravo was elected City Councillor for Davenport in October 2022. She was appointed Chair of Toronto’s Economic and Community Development Committee and Commissioner on the TTC Board, as well as to the Toronto Board of Health and Mayor’s Executive Committee.

Born in Chile, Alejandra moved to Canada with her family as a refugee when she was a child. In addition to English, she is fluent in Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

Alejandra is an adult educator and community facilitator with 25 years of leadership experience in civil society organizations. Prior to becoming a City Councillor, she was Director of Leadership and Training at the Broadbent Institute. She also directed the Power Lab, a leadership learning initiative focused on local organizing for a fairer economy. Previously, she spent almost a decade at Maytree, creating and leading leadership and civic participation programs.

Alejandra is a graduate of the University of Toronto and OISE. Davenport has been her family’s home for decades.
