My name is Bill Radia. I am a recently retired, Ontario Certified Teacher with 26 years of elementary teaching experience in the York Region District School Board. I am a proud parent, a resident of York Region for over 40 years and have called Aurora home for almost 15 years. I am running in the upcoming election as a Public School Trustee for YRDSB in the Aurora-Whitchurch-Stouffville area.
I am a fierce advocate for public education and I see my role as a trustee as an extension of this.
As a long-standing member of ETFO I recognize the importance of strong union representation at all levels of government. We have fought hard for our rights in education just like all brothers and sisters have in various other unions. I believe in solidarity and collective action for a common purpose. I aim to make a difference in education and I am asking for your support in doing so.
