Cindy is an experienced IT executive, business owner, and community leader. Born and raised in York Region, she is a proud mother and Thornhill resident, where she lives with her husband and two children.
Proudly educated in the York Region District School Board, Cindy graduated from the University of Waterloo with degrees in Mathematics and Arts and pursued international studies at leading European universities, bringing a global perspective to her work. Her career in technology and business has included leading teams through complex client projects, with a focus on delivering quality results and building strong relationships.
Cindy’s commitment to public service includes serving as Treasurer and an Executive Board member of the Ontario NDP, as well as a provincial and municipal political candidate. A progressive voice in her community, she is committed to serving others, supporting working families, and advocating for parents, students, teachers, and strong, accessible public education.
