Farzana Rajwani is a community leader and former Toronto District School Board Trustee committed to building communities.
In 2022, Farzana was elected Trustee for Don Valley East, where she advocated for students, families, and public education. She is seeking to represent the new TDSB Ward 8, understanding the strengths and needs of Don Valley East and Don Valley West.
Farzana serves as Director of Stakeholder and Community Relations in Don Valley West, leading community engagement, building partnerships, and working with residents to advance priorities.
Prior to joining the City of Toronto, she held senior leadership roles with organizations including the UHN Foundation and Michael Garron Hospital Foundation.
Farzana holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropy & Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a Bachelor of Education from Brock University, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph, and a post-graduate certificate in Fundraising & Volunteer Management from Humber College.
