Jennifer Volk is a long-time advocate for public education and an active parent in school communities. She is running for school trustee because she cares about the future of public education.
Jennifer became engaged in education advocacy when her oldest daughter (now starting university) started in JK. She has fulfilled roles in all capacities on school councils, led letter writing campaigns and organized rallies in support of public education and Save Our Pool Campaigns. She has worked with communities in her area and across the city to make schools a better place. Most recently she has worked closely with her trustee Sara Ehrhardt to build networks such as the Toronto Education Advocacy Network.
As your Trustee, Jennifer will continue to listen to concerns and build connections across the ward with the goal of advocating to end supervision and fund our public schools. Jennifer will be strong voice for public education in the community.
